Spent my new year at a beautiful hotel with great staff. the location was excellent, with stunning views of the river and paddy fields, and it was peaceful despite being in the heart of the village. the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay, helping us with hiking trips and providing local information. the breakfast was fantastic and offered Asian and western options, which was great.
The uncomfortable mattress, which may be too hard for westerners. the Wi-Fi was unstable, with better reception in the common areas.

Lovely hotel, well maintained with spacious family room. Good location, quiet surroundings. Helpful staff, although limited English. Clean linen, hot water and good wifi. Nice breakfast with traditional foods.
